FP&A Senior Manager

FP&A Senior Manager with an Atlanta-based Fortune 500 technology company.
 

Summary

The FP&A Senior Manager will be responsible for FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and strategic planning for the organization.  The company is looking for a ‘roll up your sleeves’ type who has the ability to grow within finance.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into strategy of the Business Unit; partner with the business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement or for further advancement of the Business Unit.
• Analyze monthly results as compared with plan, forecast and prior year and make recommendations, if concerning trends or performance are noted.
• Monitor business on a weekly/monthly basis to identify favorable and unfavorable trends in order to implement countermeasures to get back on track if necessary.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in the transactional work of the Business group finance team and implement process improvements.
• Be the Finance business partner for our Accounting and Product teams. Provide support and decision analytics to help drive revenue growth.
• Assist with the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 8+ years of FP&A experience.  Experience working in a large, publicly traded organization is a plus.
• Experience should include financial analysis, commercial analysis, and demonstrated upward growth in the organization.
• Excellent communication skills and proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to and general understanding of financial systems (including analysis tools like PowerBI, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide flawless reporting.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability for 10-15% travel.
