Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a growing organization’s finance team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in analyzing financial data, developing forecasting models, and supporting strategic decision-making to enhance division performance.

This role reports to the Finance Leadership and offers the opportunity to contribute to key business initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine driver-based financial models to project operational performance across monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Provide benchmark data, financial targets, and trend analysis to support robust budget and forecast development.
• Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, communicating insights clearly to management.
• Perform product-level analysis for pricing, cost, and product mix to maximize divisional profitability.
• Partner with product leadership to analyze retail promotion spend, ensuring proper budgeting and control measures are in place.
• Continuously improve financial analysis and reporting processes to drive division and product-level efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and distribute KPI scorecards and reports that highlight key insights for strategic planning purposes.
• Create impactful presentations that communicate financial findings using charts, graphs, and visual data tools.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Experience in multi-product manufacturing and distribution industries highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems, with SAP preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills using tools like PowerBI and experience working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex financial information effectively.
