FP&A Manager with a privately-held company.
 

Summary

The FP&A Manager reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, President and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prepare, and present Analysis projects as directed by the Chief Accounting Officer, CFO, President and Board of Directors.  To include annual Portfolio Reviews, Industry Benchmarking, NPV/IRR on Capital projects, and other ad-hoc analysis.

  • Develop and oversee analysis of Operating Company forecasts. Conduct reviews and meetings periodically and as necessary to understand fluctuations and changes and communicate to management.  Analyze and make recommendations when forecasts are submitted to Corporate.

  • Manage the FP&A team to prioritize and build and implement our Adaptive and Financial Reporting roadmaps and improve existing Adaptive environment.

  • Coordinate submission of and review Quarterly Board presentations for Operating Companies. Ensure complete, accurate, and uniform financial information is presented to the Board effectively and efficiently.

  • Analyze and make recommendations on the annual budget when it is submitted to Corporate.

  • Analyze, compile, and make recommendations on the Strategic Plans submitted to Corporate.

  • Perform due diligence including research, analysis, modeling, and other designated tasks relative to the Company’s non-organic growth initiatives.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations for consolidated WAI financial performance and capital allocation.

  • Build reports and other tools to improve forecasting and reporting efficiencies for Operating Companies.

  • Conduct monthly Actual to Budget performance reviews and discuss significant variances with finance leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

  • CPA or other certifications a plus

  • Workday Adaptive Planning experience a plus. Adaptive certification is preferred.

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
