Summary

The Senior Accountant is a high-profile, high-growth role and duties entail a mix of accounting, FP&A, and management reporting, including performing due diligence for M&A transactions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general ledger activities as assigned including preparing journal entries, reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts, and providing analysis for assigned income statement accounts.
• Perform analytical review to research and resolve complex accounting discrepancies or variances.
• Perform complex audits of financial records and transactions, review and match records and statements to ensure accuracy, and resolve or make recommendations for correction.
• Create audit reports and work with external auditors to support annual audit process.
• Support due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions.
• Continually assess and lead efforts to improve processes, enhance coordination, and develop efficiencies for accounting systems and work performed.
• Ensure compliance with current accounting standards, organizational policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Effectively interface with stakeholders to respond to inquiries and specific accounting transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting.
• CPA.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP.
• Large public company experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Workday a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
