Summary

The Senior Manager of Finance is a critical and strategic role responsible for building and leading the entire finance function. The VP of Finance will be a strategic partner to the CEO and the executive team, shaping the company's financial strategy to support rapid growth.

Responsibilities
Financial and Management Reporting

• Lead the end-to-end accounting process, including the preparation of timely and accurate monthly GAAP financial statements.
• Develop, manage, and execute the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling cash flow and financial forecasts.
• Build out processes for, and track, key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, bookings, recurring revenue, net retention) to run the business and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reporting packages for the Executive team, Board of Directors, and private equity firm on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage treasury functions, including monitoring cash balances and maintaining covenant compliance.

Strategic Finance and FP&A

• Serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership, providing financial insights and data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making.
• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and margin improvement.
• Lead financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Play a key role in future M&A activities, including target analysis, financial due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.

Leadership and Operations

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Design, implement, and scale financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support a high-growth SaaS business.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company, the Board of Directors, and private equity firm for all finance and accounting-related matters.
• Evaluate and manage the company’s ERP and CRM systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, HubSpot).
• Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within a B2B SaaS business.
• Deep understanding of and experience building reporting processes for key SaaS metrics (ARR, recurring revenue, bookings, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, HubSpot). Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and a background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Experience creating reporting materials for and interacting with private equity investors and boards is highly desirable.
• Experience with M&A due diligence and integration is a significant plus.
