Financial Analyst

Summary

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing financial data and guiding business decisions at the business unit / operational level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, assist with the annual budgeting process, work directly with Operational and Executive teams, and update forecasts and models
• Maintain and create financial reporting for Operational and Executive teams, offering insights into financial trends and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and analyze trends for all markets, review industry benchmarks, and the competitive landscape to drive business units’ performance
• Work with Financial Systems and Operational teams in annual budget preparation and monitor budget adherence, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
• Assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the business units’ financial health
• Assist in ad hoc analysis, addressing questions from various departments and the Executive team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and support decision-making across the organization

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA or Masters in Finance preferred
• 2+ years of progressive FP&A experience in an analytical role (operations/field finance experience is a plus)
• High level of abstract reasoning and problem-solving ability
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., OneStream) is a plus
