Accounting Manager

Summary

In this pivotal role, you will oversee both general and restaurant accounting operations, provide analytical support, and collaborate closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Your work will directly enable informed decisions that sustain and grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the restaurant and general accounting teams to maintain accurate financial records.
• Review and reconcile balance sheets, bank accounts, and accounts receivable monthly, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate and prepare for financial audits, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, capital expenditure plans, and financial reports.
• Ensure timely processing of payroll entries and accounts receivable billing, reviewing customer schedules regularly.
• Perform month-end closing procedures and support fiscal and calendar year-end activities.
• Contribute to the development of monthly budget vs. actual reports and verify expenditures against budget lines.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members, providing excellent service and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting policies
• Experience with enterprise accounting software like Great Plains or similar
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with lease accounting is a plus
